c1410 Born in Baerle-Duc (Baarle-Hertog) in the South Netherlands.

1444 Resident in Bruges. Buys citizenship to enable him to become a painter.

1462 Becomes a member of the Confraternity of the Dry Tree.

1463 He is paid for the construction of a Tree of Jesse.

1472 He is the representative of the painters’ guild in a dispute with another painter.

1472 or 3 Dies in Bruges.
